Most partners are not bad people. They simply see the visible work — the shopping, the dishes, the laundry — and miss the invisible architecture that holds a household upright: the planning, the remembering, the anticipating, the organizing, the emotional management.
That invisible architecture has a name. Mental Load. And it is exhausting.
Our notices are stamped, signed, and impossible to ignore. They are also, we should mention, completely satirical. No partners were harmed in the making of this agency. Some, however, may finally start emptying the dishwasher unprompted.
